Following on from bug 1333994, UX critique (22 August 2018) highlighted a number of possible improvements.

Swap the current tracking protection shield icon for the "footprints" icon created by Brian Bell. Concern that the shield confuses with virus protection.

The footprints icon will also have a crossed-out variant, so there may be scope to provide the crossed-out version when the tracker has been blcoked.

Give Trackers its own column in the network monitor so that resources that are flagged can be sorted.

Additional suggestion were to provide a checkbox/button/mechanism to allow people to temporarily disable tracking protection from the current page in the event that the webpage was displaying incorrectly/poorly.

Rough mockup attached.
Just copying my concern about the new colum (from Slack):

"I am only worried about the new 'Tracker' column. Network panel has limited (horizontal) space and we've been carefuly picking columns that should be visible by default. So, having additional column that is going to be rather empty most of the time feels like wasting space. I understand that sorting is needed, but this might be solved by a new option for an existing column displaying the icon. If decoupling the padlock from tracker icon is important concern - could we put the tracker into different (existing) column?"

Added latest iteration of mock-ups which includes feedback from UX Critique and enhancement suggestions from Slack.
If you decide to add a string description here, please sync up with Michelle. Please note that it's not accurate to say enabling content blocking *will* block such tracker loads, since only some of the features in that umbrella do full-on blocking...
Thanks Ehsan, makes a lot of sense as there are various measures that can impact trackers. I flagged Michelle in our planning doc. We will update the mockups when we got an updated text.
