148669 - 'Quote only selected text' and 'Re-wrap selected text'

First of all, my congrats to the Mozilla developers!  Mozilla 1.0 is awesome
(I'm using RC3, and love it), and I know its only gonna get better.  But
(there's always a but, isn't there ;)...

1) 'Quote only selected text' (I am assuming this is self-explanatory and needs
no further description) is an extremely useful feature that most mature mailers
have and Mozilla is sorely lacking - and it would be really cool if Mozilla
could go this one further when it implements it and also support selecting and
quoting *discontiguous* blocks of text (inserting a blankline-<snip>-blankline
between each discontiguous block).  This, and:

2) 'Re-wrap selected text' (or, if nothing is selected, 'Rewrap entire message
body'), *cleaning up the quoting characters*, would be awesome!  I have sorely
missed this feature that I have only seen in Outlook Express on the Mac.  It
should work with multiple levels of quoting characters.  Just take a gander at
Outlook Express on the Mac to see what I mean.

Would it be possible to 'borrow' code from some other project?

I know of one Open Source mailer that does this very well - Sylpheed - but it is
done in GTK+...

*Please* bump this up in priority, guys - I would really love to start using
Mozilla and Mozilla Mail as our company's exclusive Browser/Mailer of choice.
