The gmp-openh264 v1.8.1 is ready to pickup. The code branch is v1.8.1-Firefox39: https://github.com/cisco/openh264/tree/v1.8.1-Firefox39. The current tip commit is https://github.com/cisco/openh264/commit/2e1774ab6dc6c43debb0b5b628bdf122a391d521. The v1.8.1 release is based on release v1.8-Firefox39 (https://github.com/cisco/openh264/commits/v1.8-Firefox39), with the intention to fix Bug 1397539 and Bug 1492038 as described in the release note: v1.8.1 ------ - Fix decoding failure when H.264 video coming from Safari 12, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1492038 - Fix GMP plugin deadlock, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1397539
