This is mega bug to track the issues that would be fixed in the next release after v1.8.0.

The gmp-openh264 v1.8.1 is ready to pickup. 
The code branch is v1.8.1-Firefox39: https://github.com/cisco/openh264/tree/v1.8.1-Firefox39. The current tip commit is https://github.com/cisco/openh264/commit/2e1774ab6dc6c43debb0b5b628bdf122a391d521.

The v1.8.1 release is based on release v1.8-Firefox39 (https://github.com/cisco/openh264/commits/v1.8-Firefox39), with the intention to fix Bug 1397539 and Bug 1492038 as described in the release note:
