148699 - "Save link target as..." incorrectly assumes link target should be saved as .txt file

"Save link target as..." sometimes incorrectly assumes that the link target
should be saved as a .txt file. I have seen this occur with .pdb (PalmOS
database) files. 

For example, goto http://www.handheldcrime.com/issues/archives/index.html. Goto
the bottom of the page. Right click on
http://www.handheldcrime.com/issues/archives/HandHeldCrime2000-01.pdb
and select "Save link target as..." Observe that in the "Save as" dialog, the
filename is given as "HandHeldCrime2000-01.pdb.txt" and the filetype as "Text
file". 

This seems to be default behavior for an unknown file type. While it is easily
worked around by delete ".txt", it is annoying if one is downloading lots of
files of such a filetype.
