The road-map site (www.viamichelin.com) allows the user to interact with the displayed map using the mouse. One should be able to left-click-and-drag a rectangular area across the area of the map one is interested in and upon releasing the button the selected area should be blown-up. This features works well with Netscape 4.7 as well as M$IE. I am not sure if this is really a bug or wether the site should accomodate its service for the mozilla range of browsers. PS: On a more positive note, I wish to congratulate the mozilla team for a great porduct: RC3 has really ironed out a lot small bugs. As soon as v1.0 is out I am going to get it installed on the network and get everyone here to convert. Thanks.
That site seems to require a password.. Could you save the page in question as "web page, complete", zip up all the files involved, and attach the archive to this bug?
Note for attached doc: pages.tar.gz needs gunzip-ing and un-tar-ing. This expands in the ./map/ dir. Open the html file mapRoadMapDisplay.html to see the page in question
It seems that my original URL was asking for a password. I realise that this maybe because the site works with session ids to memorise the map one request. Please try again to access the site from its root URL: http://www.viamichelin.com . Type a city name in europe and the country in the form and it will return the map for that city. The bug is relevant on any image (map) from this site.
I can see the problem bug i dunno why this doesnÄt work (used "Detmold" and Allemange [=Germany])
Confirming on Linux and Mozilla 1.1a I'd change summary to: Cannot use mouse to zoom in the map on www.viamichelin.com or something.
dupping forward to confirmed bug in the right component... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 150906 ***
