Tracking bug for the work Hector was looking into. I know timelines are a little different with when MozChina releases Firefox versions.

The code that supported bootstrapping (CPManager and CEHomepage both use) will start being removed from 65 Nightly after October 22 (completed before Dec 11).

Bootstrapped add-ons won't work in 65 Release. That ships on Jan 29th, and the China repack is soon after.
Apoligizes in advance. I don't think this should not be under Mozilla PR... but it was the closest moz china area in bugzilla I could find. Please move if it is wrong.

Marking moco-confidential instead of sec-sensitive, please clear that too if this can be opened up.

I don't run the PR team anymore and don't think they're in bugzilla. fine to leave it filed here if needed to get the work done, but just flagging i don't know how to help here :)
