Details

When using Mozilla with tabs, if one opens many tabs, the size of a tab leaf shrinks to accomodate the new leafs. However, if there are too many leafs, the size cannot shrink below the size of the icon present in the tab leaf and consequently, when new leafs are opened, the entire browser view area and tab leafs area increases in width to accomodate the new tab leafs. Title bar remains static. Location bar is enlarged and Mozilla icon is moved to the right. Page render area and rendered content are rendered with respect to the new width. If page does not feature a scroll bar, what is rendered out of screen is not accessible. If a vertical scrollbar exists, it is not accessible by the mouse, as it is invisible. Tab close "X" button is not visible. All the above apply both to a maximized browser window and non-maximized window How to reproduce: - Open many new tabs. Temporary fix: start closing tabs. Suggested fix: Look at the behaviour of the Windows taskbar with many windows. Add up/down arrows to change rows of leafs, or left/right arrows to scroll leaf bar one to the left or right, as many standard tabbed windows behave (see wingate settings windows)
