In bug 1438499 comment 36, Markus Jaritz encouraged Bugzilla users to report cases where Session Restore fails to restore something as separate bugs. Steps to reproduce in Firefox 62.0 (64-bit) on Xubuntu 18.04 1. Navigate to https://slashdot.org/ 2. Navigate to a story on the front page that has comments 3. Below one of the comments, follow "Reply to This" to open an inline comment composition form 4. Enter some text, but do not submit the comment 5. Quit Firefox 6. Restart Firefox 7. Restore Previous Session Expect: Comment is somewhere to be copied out Actual: Comment is lost This form is added to the page by a script. Either Firefox did not save the contents of the form, or Firefox could not restore what it had saved.
Yup, we cant restore the contents of dynamically created elements here, only what we see on load
