Steps to reproduce:
When in responsive design mode, alert() has no effect.
Actual results:
alert() has no effect.

Should have a dialog

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue.
I managed to reproduce the issue mentioned above on All OS-es ( Windows, Mac OS, and Linux), on all the latest FF builds. (Release -62.0.2/20180920131237 ; DevEdition -63.0b8/20180920135444 ; Nightly - 64.0a1/20180925100100). I'm adding this to DevTools/Responsive Design Mode.
