Steps to reproduce:
Nightly build 20180920220102 introduced a regression where tool-tips, (context) menus, drop-downs, etc are rendered in the wrong location and incorrectly clipped.

So far I have only reproduced this on my Gentoo Linux system with nVidia graphics.
I also have a Gentoo Linux system running as a VirtualBox 5.2.18 guest, but I can not reproduce the problem there. This system hasn't been updated in a while, so I'm in the process of installing updates to see if newer dependency versions can trigger the issue.
