User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0
Build ID: 20180920131237
Steps to reproduce:
On the contextual link menu, the Open in a new tab doesn't explicitly says that it's going to be in the background.
Adding an option to open in a new tab in foreground could be handy in some case, and make easier to understand that "Open in a new tab" will do it background.
Nb: the Show newly open tab message displaying on the bottom looks more like a poor fix to a missing UI than a real feature, and doesn't really solve that issue.

The solution here is likely to add an option in the Settings menu to let the user choose to open new tabs in the foreground vs. the background.
Hi, I will be attempting to take a shot at this issue if that's okay! PR coming soon..
