STR:
1. In Firefox on macOS, install the "Gradientus" or "Quantum Lights" dynamic theme: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gradientus/
2. Set "gfx.compositor.glcontext.opaque" pref = true
3. Restart Firefox
4. Open a sidebar like Bookmarks (⌘B) or History (Shift ⌘H)

ACTUAL RESULT:
The sidebar text and background are black and unreadable. See the attached screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT:
The sidebar text should be readable and not have a black background.
Priority: -- → P3
Bug 1508023 reported the issue with the bundled dark theme.

This doesn't seem to be related to whether the user is using the dark or light theme. This occurs for me even when firefox is configured to start with the light theme. As far as I can tell it's unrelated to themes. Even when gfx.compositor.glcontext.opaque=false, the History window doesn't seem to respect whatever theme is set.

Summary: Sidebar text is unreadable with gfx.compositor.glcontext.opaque=true and "Quantum Lights" theme → Sidebar text is unreadable with gfx.compositor.glcontext.opaque=true
Severity: normal → S3

The gfx.compositor.glcontext.opaque pref appears to be gone, so I'm going to close this out.
