Details

(Whiteboard: [necko-triaged][trr])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0
Build ID: 20180927143327

Steps to reproduce:

My TRR server has both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses; some servers may have multiple IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. It should be possible to enter multiple address for the config option network.trr.bootstrapAddress. This is useful when a TRR server is reachable at multiple IP (4/6) addresses.
Another use case, my server supports both IPv4 and IPv6 but when I roam, some networks only support IPv4. I would prefer to use the IPv6 address first when reachable.

Any news? I could really use this option!

Came here to file a feature request, glad to see that someone's already done it. network.trr.mode=3 desperately needs this when the resolver uri is backed by dual-stack or round-robin.

Severity: normal → S3
