The version is listed in the heading but it likely isn't very useful. It would make more sense in the bottom data list area.

no advocacy, just a UX feedback from my POV. If you say you won't change it back I will live with the decision.

Maybe I am a bit special because I develop and test add-ons, but now I have to scroll to see which version of my add-on is installed. You can use my add-on Enterprise Policy Generator as an example of an add-on with a long description where I have to scroll more than once to get the information. I often have to check things and usually don't know which version is currently installed. That's why I'm not sure if this is really a change that improves usability so much that it's really worth the change. Do whatever you want with this feedback. ;-)
If you hover the extension name in the list view it includes the version. Could save you some scrolling.
