Johan, before the GV team starts promoting GV to more app developers, we'd like to delete the old GV directories in Maven's https://maven.mozilla.org/?prefix=maven2/org/mozilla/ directory now that new GV files are published in the https://maven.mozilla.org/?prefix=maven2/org/mozilla/geckoview/ directory. These old GV files are not used by anyone (inside or outside Mozilla) and they might confuse app developers that are browsing the Maven repo. We don't need to move them to a new location. We just delete them.

Thanks for filing this bug! The rationale makes sense to me. Releng doesn't have the rights to delete files from maven.m.o. This a security measure and also it requires to clear the CDNs.

Adrian, would you have cycles to handle this request?
