Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002051918 When running mozilla-1.0 on an user account for that previously Netscape-6 has been configured, the user's settings (preferences) for Netscape will be changed: After having Mozilla closed, a new-started Netscape-6 will connect to its first-usage-page and show you the "internet keywords" buttom, even if this was disabled in Netscape's settings prior to running Mozilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have both, Netscape 6.2 and Mozilla 1.0 installed 2. Have your Netscape6 configured 3. Lunch Mozilla, do what you willt, close it 4. Start Netscape Actual Results: Netscape will start at the first-usage-page, some preferences are lost. Expected Results: A version of Mozilla should not intercept with other versions of it nor with any version of Netscape.
Not Mozilla's fault. Netscape use the mozilla based profiles and mozilla can change preferences to reflect the new state. Mozilla is new and NS6.x is old. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 107694 ***
