Similar to bug 1497518 (maybe they're the same?), I think this started with today's nightly.

'#' also isn't working, for me at least.
This seems similar in Google Docs.
Bug 1497518 comment 2 has a fix so I'm duping there. (toggle dom.keyboardevent.keypress.set_keycode_and_charcode_to_same_value in about:config)
