Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020529 BuildID: 2002052918 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open any website 2. open any link in a new tab 3. bring the first tab to front 3. open another link in another tab 4. close the last tab Actual Results: brings second tab to front Expected Results: brings first tab to front browser tabs should have a z-order, just like browser windows. currently, closing a browser tab brings its left neighbor to front (or its right neighbor if you close the tab at the very left). what closing a browser tab should bring to front is of course the tab that was visible before switching to the tab just closed. the current behaviour is quite annoying when opening multiple links from a "main" page in new tabs (like mozilla bug reports from a mozilla bug list), and closing the last tab you have opened never takes you back to the "main" page, but to the last tab still open.
