I did a local build and I searched for a regression window by binary search. Regression Window: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=4a092af42641&tochange=a8e94f30387e Regressed by: Bug 1390443

For me the video doesn't play at all in Firefox 62 or 64, nor in Chrome 70 on OSX. Can you please double check that your demo is in fact still working?

Yes, at least on Windows10, the movie can be start. However, due to this bug, it needs extra 2 steps since Firefox57. The Bad build, and Nightly64.0a1 Windows10, 1. Open http://ec2-54-193-19-209.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/demo/ 2. Click Play Button 3. Wait for 30-40sec 4. Then Click Play Button again 5. The movie should start The Good build, i.e, on Firefox56 Wndows10, 1. Open http://ec2-54-193-19-209.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com/demo/ 2. Then Click Play Button 3. The movie immediately start

And Google Chrome Dev 71.0.3573.0 windows10 works like Firefox56. After click play button, the movie immediately start.
This is really strange. Today the video play right away for me on the same OSX machine. The only difference is that I'm testing today from the Mozilla office WiFi with pretty good, reliable Internet connection. Where my tests yesterday were from a pretty lossy public WiFi with not so great Internet connectivity. But that would then point to the network or the player not fetching things properly in less then ideal networks.
Marking fix-optional for 64. We could still take a patch for 65, and if it's verified and doesn't seem risky, could still take fixes for 64 as well.
