What happens?

you can move single messages from one folder to another but not more than one.

Up to build 02062002 moving more than one message caused a crash (!!!I suggest
to review fix of bug 107214), but moving single messages was ok. 

Now the same behavior but not crash but simply no reaction at all. 

Reproduce:

-- Select messages (two or up) with shift+mouse1 or ctrl+mouse1
-- drag & drop them from one folder to another
-- nothing happens

Expected behavior: should move messages

As the behaviour was first seen a day after the fix of bug 107214, I suggest to
review the fix.

Why CRITICAL (as it is no crash)?

For people with high email-volume this new bug rendes email completely unuseful.

(PS: these builds crash on loading Ghostskript-plugins anyway which limits their
usability)

I can see this bug too, I also have problems deleting more than one message at
the time. The throbber spins but nothing happens.

1) could reproduce with 07062002  on Windows XP Pro

2) the problem pascal described I can also see in 03062002 (from
latest_Trunk_1.0.0): I guess delete is another way to say "move to trash-folder":

Now I have two spam-messages that won't move anywhere even after rerstarting
windows 2000 Pro with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0)
Gecko/20020603, which I will continue to use until the problem discussed here is
 fixed

Addition:

I found that my - seemingly empty - Inbox had become a file of 10,2 MegaByte. I
saved it to a ZIP-file for examination and deleted it to get rid of the
undeletable messages.

Exact behaviour: 

1) I could delete messages to a cretain point
2) Then two messages were undeletable
3) older and newer messages were movable and deletable
4) at least true for version: Mozilla 1.0 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020603

Hallo Herr Bielefeld,

it works for everyone up to build 20020603xx! 

But if you could check builds after 20020607xx on win98 we could see if this bug
is special for win2000/XP or can also be traced in DOS/win9x-environments or
other operating systems.

for some German participants:

Dieser Fehler trat bei mir zum ersten Mal mit build vom 5. Juni 2002 auf. Builds
davor waren nicht betroffen. Das delete-Problem trat auch mit der build vom 3.
Juni 2002 auf und ist wahrscheinlich auf ein Problem mit der
"compact-folders"-Funktion zurückzuführen.

as I sometimes wrote the build dates as 05062002 (for 5-June-20002) and
sometimes just compied the build-id from the Mozilla-Info-page wich looks more
like 20020605xx (for 5-June-2002), there seems to be a slight misunderstanding
by two German participannts.

I do not think so. The move/delete issue also occurs if you do not use "compact 
folders". I told you DoughT (as reporter of bug 107214, that there seems to be 
a problem with the fix of bug 107214).

You recommended to file this bug and Seth is out another 12 days. I filed this 
bug on 2002-06-06 and it should be taken care of.
