[Intermittent] Muting tab doesn't mute HBO Now video

Details
STR:
1. Open Firefox
2. Open https://play.hbonow.com/ in a new tab.
3. Click "SIGN IN" in upper right corner of home page.
4. Use valid credentials to login.
5. Select and play media content. (enable flash notification is displayed)
7. Click on allow flash button.
8. Play any video. Video and audio are working fine.
9. Mute the tab (right click >> mute tab)
Actual: Video is still audible and we can hear the video fine.
Expected: There should be no audio.
Please note, I observe this issue intermittently. Mostly It happens for the first time when we mute tab, If I pause the video and play it again then mute tab is effective and there is no sound, after this audio for mute/unmute tab works fine.
