Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 (Macintosh; U; PPC) BuildID: 2002053008 I had CSWB T1.0 based on MOZ 0.9.7. It displays a download window. I just installed MOZ 1.0 Alpha/OpenVMS, it does download but I have no window (and the file downloaded is not the one I requested, but this is another story. I need to investigate this one before reporting a bug, if it is one. For the record, I'm doing the same download via CSWB T1.0 and I have the window and I have the right file). Thanks, D. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. http://wasd.vsm.com.au/wasd 2. click on HTROOT722.ZIP 3. select save file Actual Results: got file but no download window Expected Results: display at least the same window as MOZ 0.9.6 PS: I'm posting from my Mac, don't get confused
http://wasd.vsm.com.au/wasd gives me: ERROR 404 - The requested resource could not be found. Do you have a URL which exists where I can try to reproduce this problem?
I suspect this is the same as bug 115819. When you click on the file to download, do you get a box pop up which gives the cryptic message 'You have chosen to download a file of type: "#1" [#2]'? Is you do, then this is certainly bug 115819. Bug 115819 describes what I believe is a timing bug somewhere in the download code. The bug comes and goes but for some reason it shows up a lot more on OpenVMS than any other platform. As a workaround, shift-click on the file to download. This should immediately take you to the "save as" dislog. Didier, can you confirm that you are seeing the 'You have chosen to download a file of type: "#1" [#2]' dialog when this problem occurs?
Didier confirmed via email that he does indeed get the 'You have chosen to download a file of type: "#1" [#2] from' dialog. Marking dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 115819 ***
