From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 I am able to use mozilla 1.0 to download mp3's & executables without any issues. The issue is once the download is complete, the dialogue box has a "Launch File" button that stays grayed out, although it used to work in previous versions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to any site such as www.winamp.com/download 2.Download a version of the software, further let the download complete. 3.Make sure the dialogue box is left open after the download is complete, and you will notice the launch file button is grayed out. Actual Results: The bug I reported is seen Expected Results: Mozilla ought to launch the file(if it is an executable, execute it, or if an mp3 play the music).
Confirming this bug. Using WinXP and build 2002060706. But it should also be a security feature ?!
