User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0 Steps to reproduce: Hello. PC with Windows 10 pro 64 bit. FIREFOX 63 stable 64 bit. Every now and then when I launch FF one or two bookmarks in the bookmarks bar lose their ICON. I have to reload the web site to display the missing icons again. The bookmarks without icons appear as those highlighted in the attached JPG file and disappear only in the BOOKMARKS BAR. I think there is a bug in the favicons.sqlite file which is the icons database in the profile. This happens to me in a PC with FF 63 stable release and in this PC where I have FF 64 BETA 3 64 bit browser installed. Could you solve the problem? Thanks. Hi. PC with WINDOWS 10 HOME 64 BIT 1809 (build SO 17763.55). I have 64-bit Firefox 63. Often when I launch the program, the icons of 1 or 2 bookmarks (ONLY in the bookmarks toolbar) disappear. I have to reload the website to see the icons again. I associate with Alice in asking the solution of the problem: for me the icons of the bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar are very important, they allow me to recognize a website on the fly. Thanks. Do you have bookmarks Syncing enabled? Could you please attach a log from the about:support page? Ideally we never expire icons, we just replace them, I wonder if the url is somehow changing.

Hi. Just launched my Firefox (i have a PC desktop with Windows 10 home 1809 32 bit). Just launched FF 64 BETA 4 and 1 icon of my bookmarks in the toolbar has disappeared. The attachments of the icons in the bookmark bar and the support log file. I hope you can solve this problem in a lot of time. I had this problem with FF 63 stable release 32 bit too. Hello, this also happens in the Fennec start page: sometimes the pinned website lose their favicons and regain it after they have been loaded again.
Alice/Fulvia: Please can you give us some of the URLs where the icons are lost. Underpass: This bug is to do with Firefox desktop, please file a separate bug for Fennec.

Hi. In my case some bookmarks of the BOOKMARKS TOOLBAR lose their icons at the launch of FF 63.0.1 stable in a random way every time. The sites that most often lose their icons are: https://www.webnews.it/ https://www.agi.it/ https://www.hwupgrade.it/ I hope you can replicate this "bug" and solve it. I like icons of bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar to easily and quickly identify my favorite sites. Thanks and best regards. Amos

Hi. I have a desktop PC with W 10 home 1809 32 bit. I use FIREFOX 64 BETA 8 32 bit. I just runned the integrity check from about: support Places Database section. Then I restarted the PC and launched my browser. Three bookmarks have lost their icons and are those of these websites: https://www.hwupgrade.it/ https://www.webnews.it/ https://www.lettera43.it/ Could you help me and find a solution to the problem? Ok, I actually do have bookmarks to those websites, but they are not losing icons for me. First a few questions: 1. Did you ever use external tools to cleanup Firefox history, like CCleaner or similar? (please don't, anyway) 2. Did you ever use non-mozilla syncing tools like XMarks? Could you please check if you have any .corrupt files in your profile folder? (reachable from about:support page) Could you please copy/paste the log that the Integrity check gives you here?

Hi. I answer as Aramis too. I have deleted the same bookmarks he indicated from my list. Everyone else has never lost their icon. Also I do not use external tools to delete the history. I don't see anything wrong there. I also have bookmarks to those pages locally and they don't show the problem. I don't have an answer, nor ideas on how we could dig deeper. I mostly wonder if the bookmark was pointing to the unsecure version (http://) and the site started using the secure version (https). Then maybe the unsecure version was being expired periodically. If you still have those bookmarks could you please check?
