1502215 - Getting errors with Steam VR when shutting down Firefox

When using Firefox Nightly with WebVR, closing Firefox produces errors dialogues from Steam VR.

Firefox version:
Firefox Nightly 65.0a1

To reproduce:
1. Open and view WebVR content using VIVE. I'm seeing this with three.js/examples as well as A-Frame content.
2. Shut down Firefox Nightly.
3. Errors occur.

I can confirm this is still occurring in 68.0.

It's a more general issue. To reproduce:

1. Open a WebVR page and activate the headset by clicking on the icon.
2. Exit the headset view by pressing ESC

What will happen:
In the headset, SteamVR displays the "waiting for application to respond" animation.

What should happen:
In the headset, SteamVR should return to its previous default state: empty dome or Home.

3. Wait long enough

What will happen:
You will receive the error messages reported in this bug.

What should happen:
Mozilla should have been disengaged earlier.
