User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 Steps to reproduce: Write a message, post it, found a typo. Actual results: I could and can not edit my post. Expected results: Users should be able to edit their own posts after posting.

Hey Dan,

I know that this ticket was filled a long time ago. This might have been fixed along the way.

I'm wondering if you are still reproducing this behavior. Currently, users can edit their questions via the "Edit this question" option from the "Question Tools" section.

Ooooh indeed, it works! I just realized it only is quite unintuitive. When posting an answer, there is "edit this post" right next to your own post. But the "Edit this question" button is in a totally different area of the website, this might have caused confusion and probably confuses new users. We should consider creating a task bug to improve that.

Thanks for the confirmation, Dan!

I'm going to close this one then. Please feel free to open a new enhancement ticket with the desired improvement and I'll mirror it in our GitHub repo.

Will also add it to a new list of UI change requests so we can have a look once we are starting a new process of improving SUMO's UI.
