Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90; Q312461) BuildID: 2002053012 I launch Mozilla from the desktop icon. The first one functions perfectly. However, if I open a second or third or fourth browser using the desktop shortcut icon, the consecutive browsers accept no input in any fashion. They are non-responsive to mouse or keyboard. The first browser is still fully functional. If I launch consecutive browsers using file - new - Navigator Window the problem is not encountered. I can only produce this bug using the desktop icon. I have deleted and recreated the desktop icon/shortcut but the bug still persists. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch browser from desktop icon 2.launch another browser from desktop icon 3.all consecutive browser windows are active but will not accept input. Actual Results: I had to close all additional browser windows. Expected Results: I should be able to browse with as many Mozilla windows/processes open as my PC can handle. As it is right now I can only use one via the desktop icon launch method. If I want more than that open, I have to use the file - new - Navigator Window method. I am going to uninstall and reinstall and see what happens. I am also going to try this new version 1.0 build on a 98se machine tonight. thank you...AK

this is wfm with win2k build 20020606.. be sure that you installed Mozilla in a clean directory... And File/New Navigator window works ? this is a possible dupe of bug 82534

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 Build: 2002053012 Marking WFM, it's not a dupe as 82534 allows mouse movement in the window.

"The mouse still works in the consecutively opened browsers. I cannot however input using the keyboard. The browser navigation buttons and url links in the browser windows work, I just cannot type in the url window or any other input fields within the open window."
