User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0
Steps to reproduce:
I used "Tools->Options->Calendar" to make a change & clicked "OK" while still on "Calendar" tab.
The next time I go to use Tools->Options->Calendar & move cursor to make choice:
1. The window [partially] disappears.
2. The Menu Bar dims (as if Options is still open) & any click is met with an error beep.
3. To close Thunderbird, I have to use Task Manager.
**See attached file: Lightning Problems.pdf
Actual results:
To continue, I need to:
1. Reopen TB.
2. Disable Lightning.
3. Restart TB.
4. Open Options then click OK. (This leaves the active tab other than Calendar. If not done, Options opens on the Calendar tab after re-enabling Lightning.)
5. Enable Lightning.
6. Restart TB.
**In order to prevent this, I need to make sure that the Options window is not left on the Calendar tab bore clicking OK
Expected results:
Normal operation when using Options dialog/window.

Do you have any other addons installed? Is this also an issue with _only_ Lightning enabled and TB restarted?
Are there appearing any messages in the error console when reproducing the issue?
To check this, please open the error console first (ctrl+shift+j), clear it, then open the options dialog (probably make sure that it opens with another tab selected) and move it that you can observe both side by side, switch to the calendar tab, change something and finally click OK. Then, please post what you got in the error console.

Found the problem. It is with the add-on CustomizeMyBird 2.7.1. I went step by step only with Lightning add-on, then specific add-ons for Lightning, then CustomizeMyBird.
I will inform developer with a link to this bug.
Attaching screenshot of the Error Console.

Sorry for all the entries. Was not sure how to add these.

@Arthur
I think you are using the add-on wrong. It looks like you have enabled settings exclusively made for Windows 7s AeroGlass, but on your screenshots I see you are using OSs Aero Basic theme.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I found what was causing the issue.
Mozilla supposed to switch preferences from window to a tab in Tb60+, but still did not. The option causing this issue is the "alternative appearance" for about:preferences. Disable the option like seen on this screenshot:
https://i.imgur.com/bd3voUu.png
about:preferences settings are meant for about:preferences tab not the old options window.
