I'm using Lubuntu 18.10 with LXQt. See attached graphics info.

In that same PC I also have Lubuntu 18.04 LTS with LXDE and it doesn't crash.

You have a NV46 gpu (so geforce 7's something low end).. And nouveau support there is abysmal.
I can hardly say more about your particular situation without detailed logs, but for as much as I know the bug about segfaults in userspace is https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102349
18.04 not presenting issues might have had something to do with it still supporting the proprietary driver.

It's a NVIDIA GeForce 7300SE 64MB.

I confirm that I can't reproduce the crash with Firefox 70.0.1 in Lubuntu 19.10
