 - Sony Xperia Z5 (Android 6.0.1);
 - Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 8.0.0).

Builds:
 - Nightly 65.0a1 (2018-11-13);
 - Beta 64.0b9;
 - Release 63.0.2.

Prerequisites:
 The user should have Facebook app installed and should be logged in.

Steps to reproduce:
 1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/mozilla or any other page.
 2. Long tap on a random word, but not a link.
 3. Choose "Share" on Facebook.

Expected result:
 Facebook is opened, long tap and "Paste" and the selected word is visible.

Actual result:
 Facebook is opened, but after "Paste", the app displays the last link I copied.

Notes:
 Even with a clean profile, Facebook displays the last link copied on the device.
 If a link is selected, Facebook displays it correctly.

Mira, can you test this on Chrome? It may be a FB issue. If so, we can follow up and report it to them.

This seems to be a Facebook app issue. The exact same thing happens when sharing something from Chrome.

I`ve tested on Chrome, and the behavior is the same.
Tested with Sony Xperia Z2 (Android 6.0.1).

Sure. I'm just not sure on one detail.

My understanding is we expect Facebook to share the word we selected in the post. But do we expect the clipboard to contain the shared text when we try to "paste"?

Note: when sharing on Gmail, the selected word/text is displayed in the "compose email" section, without "Paste" option.

Another note: when sharing a link on Facebook, there is no need for "Paste", the link is displayed.
