Using Mozilla 1.0 to go to the website www.creditexpert.com results in referal to page http://www.creditexpert.com/creditmanager/net6.jsp which loads over and over again. I found this by going to www.experian.com (one of the big three US consumer credit companies). Credit Expert appears to be Experian's main consumer offering. Clicking on the "learn more" from the Experian homepage goes to a CreditExpert.com web page titled "Browser Error" with the following message displayed: "Netscape 6 browser error: Sorry, the Netscape 6 browser you are currently using is not supported on CreditExpert.com. We are currently working with their latest browser so you can take full advantage of our site. We will support Netscape 6 soon. In the meantime, please choose an earlier version of your browser when visiting CreditExpert.com." They may we working on it, but I think it should still be in the Evanglism database. I did a search for it and didn't find anything.

I do not get a loop as the reporter says, but rather I just get redirected to the page that says Netscape 6 is unsupported at https://www.creditexpert.com/creditexpert/creditmanager/net6.html. Obviously the site has two issue: It detect Mozilla as Netscape 6. It denies Netscape 6. I am using build 2002070508 on Windows XP Home Edition.

Mozilla 1.0, Debian-woody. With cookies disabled I get a redirection limit exceeded alert. It won't load at all. With cookies it loads some js and then the ns6 page. After a minute or so it redirects to another page. The site works in Konq and Opera. The sniffer http://www.creditexpert.com/js/browsercheck.js is explicitly blocking gecko.

The site works with Firefox 2, it has been changed since it uses ASP instead of JSP now, and the Javascript check script is no longer there.
