From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 Using the Thinkpad 600 Trackpoint mouse, windows do not scroll while holding the blue center button. This feature works 100% in all other programs. I am aware that this was reported earlier for the TP770, but it was not clear if the OS was Win98. It also is not clear if the problem is still under investigation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any page in Mozilla. 2. Hold blue center button and move trackpoint. 3. Observe page does not scroll in horizontal or vertical. 4. I have just noticed that items in dropdown boxes within a page DO scroll with the trackpoint. But the overall page never scrolls. Actual Results: No page scroll. Expected Results: The page that has focus should scroll horizontally or vertically, depending on trackpoint movement with the center blue button held. Trackpoint scrolling works 100% in all other programs on this machine. I have tried all configurations of the "mouse wheel" settings in PREFERENCES. Nothing works.
It will possible work if you update your mouse-drivers. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 20618 ***
