Steps to reproduce:

start firefox nightly 
GDK_BACKEND=wayland firefox-nightly  
check WebGL 1 Driver Extensions for wayland
open about:config
move mouse over listed items or scroll


Actual results:

cpu load went up to 90% on 32core cpu and significant slowdown


Expected results:

smooth scrolling like using Xwayland
