Since getting my new computer, trying to run Firefox with WebRender enabled spews the following output to the console: EE ../../../../../src/gallium/drivers/r600/r600_shader.c:183 r600_pipe_shader_create - translation from TGSI failed ! EE ../../../../../src/gallium/drivers/r600/r600_state_common.c:799 r600_shader_select - Failed to build shader variant (type=0) -1 over and over again. Rendering itself seems to be unaffected. I attached my about:support so you can see things like driver details.
I mean.. it seems a bit of masochistic to keep using such an ancient Mesa version.
AFAIK that error was fixed in 17.3.

I'm just running whatever Debian stable ships...
So.. like update?
Or is this like a memo?
Also, probably duplicate of bug 1393793

I had a look, and stretch-backports does offer mesa 18.2. I've upgraded, and can confirm the issue is gone.
I'm going to close this as invalid as it's an upstream issue.
