From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
BuildID: 2002053012
in the URL http://cardmemberservices.firstusa.com/index.jsp and several other
financial/ecommerce websites. (incl. www.paypal.com) it is impossible to create
an encrypted-SSL connection. COnnections to such sites work with Opera, IE,
Netscape 4.x, etc. Every time a connection like this is attempted the browser
fails to connect and displays: "Error Establishing an Encrypted Connection to
<URL> Error Code: -5985"
I am using Mozilla through a proxy, Squid 2.4.STABLE3, and cannot currently
access the Net directly, but I believe this problem to exist without a proxy.
Also, the other browsers do work through this same proxy (which initiates a
CONNECT/DIRECT command properly).
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla
2. Browse or go directly to any https URL at offending sites
3. Receive error
Actual Results: Received same error
Expected Results: ACtually connected to the site, via SSL/encrypted.
