Details

We shouldn't wait for actual users of multi-store. Instead we can implement our own minimal custom ping using a non-main store to check if everything works and we get the right data.

While not deployed or rolled out anywhere, I did write a minimal example (accompanied by a blog post that I can release hopefully soon).
