Expected:

Actual:

 Caret

I'm splitting this off bug 1506547.
This test will need to be modified when I land my user select changes since I
plan to make the caret jump over the noneditable bit, but it seemed better than
landing this completely untested.
Sigh, this uncovers even more bugs, so I can't really untie this from bug 1506547.
