As far as I know, there are no valid URL of the form: "http://www.WORD1 WORD2.com" Because of this, it makes sense to automatically invoke search whenever the user enters more than one work in the location bar and does not explicitly have http:// or any other protocol information in there. This seems to be clearly what the user intends to do. This simple change might make the end-user experience substantially nicer since it would cut down on the error dialog boxes that an average user would see.
