I don't want to block all third-party cookies out of fear that this will beak too much. However the 1) "Third-party trackers" and 2) "Cookies from unvisited websites" options seems safe enough to me. Alas, neither is perfect since the first one is curated and misses things (e.g. on heise.de I see a cookie from healte.de which seems fishy) whereas the second lets through sites such as facebook.com, google.com, twitter.com etc., so I'd like to enable both options, which about:preferences doesn't seem to allow.

This bug needs to be triaged by the team currently working on this feature before someone could take it up.

We're already planning to look into this as the next phase of our anti-tracking project. :-)
