Details

tabs.onRemoved happens after the tab is gone (see bug 1291830), so there is no way to query for the tab to get its incognito value.  

In bug 1345474, a monitor function was added to head.js that watches for this event (see startIncognitoMonitorExtension), but it is unable to fully test.  It works as it is now, but there is a small chance it could be wrong with future changes.
