Is it possible to position the signature above the quoted text instead of the
placing it at the bottom?
The most common usage of quoted text is below the reply. And if you have
signature file available, it is placed at the bottom. As the quoted reply is the
message from the recipient, he will never scroll to the bottom to see the signature.
In outlook, it appears in the following order --> Cursor, Signature, Quoted
Text.... which is a sensible order instead of Mozilla's Cursor, Quoted Text,
Signature.

ps: outlook offers 2 different signatures.. 1 for new messages and 1 for replies..

This is probably a WONTFIX. The signature appears at the end by definition: the
signature is defined as all text from the sigdash (the "-- " line) to the end of
the message. Putting the signature above the quoted text would put the entire
quotation inside the sig, which can cause problems for recipients. If you really
want the signature to come before the quoted text, attach the original message
inline rather than quoting it.
