Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0
Steps to reproduce:
I'm finding that touchpad (two finger) scrolling the content of a page will sometimes result in the active tab being switched. This seems to have mostly manifested as selecting the previous tab (or, even more rarely, the second or third tab) to the left of the active tab when scrolling.
I can't reproduce this completely at will, but it's certainly happening a few times a day for me, on more than one device running Linux (a 2015 MacBook Pro, and a 2018 Dell XPS 13).
I suspect this is related to bug 1285812 landing, but I didn't pay enough attention to when this started to be completely sure that the upgrade to Firefox 65 was the start of the problem. (I don't remember it happening before that, though.)
Actual results:
The active tab is changed unexpectedly.
Expected results:
No change should have occurred.
