Mozilla mail is unable to remember the default username and password for
newsservers requiring a login, and the master password is regularly requested.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a newsaccount where you have to login
2.request the newsgroups
3.the password will be requested but not remembered

Actual Results:  same problem

Expected Results:  Mozilla mail should allow a username and password for a
newsserver which does not have to be repeatedly entered

Are you using Pushed Authentication (a hidden pref for now, see bug 39862).

Also, are you choosing 'Save Password', and switching newsgroups?

If so, that's bug 36816.  If you're not switching newsgroups, or this is in a
single session, that is a DUP of a different bug.
