Originally reported in this Focus issue:
https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/issues/4081
Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox Focus with GeckoView enabled and load any webpage.
Expected behavior:
Focus should display the proper URL for the loading webpage and keep it there while loading and after rendering.
Actual behavior:
Firefox Focus shows about:blank in the URL bar during initial navigation to webpage, then when the page renders about:blank is replaced by the webpage's actual URL.
Could this issue be related to about:blank bug 1512803?

P2 because this bug is not urgent for Focus, but [geckoview:fenix:p1] because it will be important for Fenix.
Priority: -- → P2

I think this is being discussed in Bug 1447406.
