User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0
Steps to reproduce:
*Note: This is only happening on the Linux version of Firefox*
Tried to download a file by clicking on a link (example: .png, .pdf, .mp3.)
Actual results:
There is the usual popup that appears to ask if I want to open or save the file to the computer.
This dialogue box immediately becomes unresponsive and remains frozen from anywhere to 30 seconds to 2 minutes before I can press OK to confirm the saving of a file.
Expected results:
The dialogue box should remain responsive and allow the user to click OK after it renders.
Summary: Download Dialogue (Opening [filenamehere].[extensionhere] freezes and becomes unresponsive for a long time on Linux → Download Dialogue (Opening [filenamehere].[extensionhere]) freezes and becomes unresponsive for a long time on Linux

Is the URL at the screenshot the actual URL tested?
What is the available RAM and disk space at the computer the code was tried at?
This is probably the same issue as with Bug 1517101. I can reproduce as well. Only Nightly v66 works

Hi Mkll,
This issue seems to be the same as Bug 1517101 so I will mark this as a duplicate for now.
Thanks for reporting!
