Details

Environment:
Device: Google Pixel (Android 9) and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Android 8.1.0);
Build: Nightly 66.0a1 (2019-01-09);

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go on twitch.tv and open any stream;
  2. Go on full-screen mode;
  3. Long tap on the video.

Expected result:
The video control bar is displayed correctly.

Actual result:
The video control bar is hidden behind the overview buttons.

Notes:

  • Reproducible on landscape/portrait mode
  • Not reproducible on Chrome
  • Reproducible also on other sites with videos (ex. Youtube, https://base-n.de/webm/out9.webm)

Not sure I am understanding this - when I long-tap I get a context menu. Should I expect to see (or use) the video controls while I'm in the context menu?

Sorry for my mistake, I wanted to point out the problem of the overview buttons over the video controls. An additional step needs to be executed to reach the bug.
The Right steps to reproduce are:

  1. Go on twitch.tv and open any stream;
  2. Go on full-screen mode;
  3. Long tap on the video;
  4. Tap outside the context menu.

Updates: Also, the status bar remains blocked on the view.

Device:

  • OnePlus 5T (Android 9);

Build:

  • Firefox Beta 67.0b9;

This issue is still reproducible on the latest version of Release 67.0 using Sony Xperia Z2 (Android 6.0.1) on Youtube videos.
