Description

Haven't seen these for a long while, but the url
http://people.netscape.com/rginda/warpcore/warpcam.html
exhibits them: horizontal lines across the image which
disappear after the window is obscured and revealed.

The page uses 'width=100%'; my window is sized at
1206x932. Will attach a partial screenshot.

Occurs about 40% of the time on my 56.6K line (I think
that line speed is a major factor).

This is with trunk as of writing.

Removing 'are back' from the summary since I think
that implies that this is a recent regression which
isn't necessarily the case.
Summary: Vertical scaling drop-outs are back. → Vertical scaling drop-outs

Is this a duplicate of bug 83289?

Don't know. This bug has nothing to do with scrolling; the
problem is visible while just sitting looking at the page
load.

Secondly, that bug is marked FIXED and my eyes say that
this bug isn't.

Still seeing this intermittantly on this test case.

(with trunk build)
Is bug 190881 related to this?

Not unlikely... the symptoms sound the same.
