User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 8.1.0; Moto G (5)) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3578.99 Mobile Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Click a random mailto link.

Actual results:

Browser opens a new tab every 0.2 seconds or so, never ending.

Expected results:

Should open email program.

Please check https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links or is your request for "Firefox for Android" ?
You reported it as Firefox Desktop bug.

Yes it is Desktop. Ah, Firefox Nightly was set as default. Strange. So that causes the behavior in Firefox 64 (I acidentally had set 65 instead of 64, sorry)
