Details

Been seeing this for a while - opening links from a container automatically in another container opens the link in two new container tabs.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create new Firefox profile (or reuse existing).
  2. Install two container add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-container/ and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/twitter-container/
  3. Open https://twitter.com/tjh/status/1087851140039901184 This should open in a Twitter container automatically.
  4. Click the link on the post - https://t.co/wMXXAeuFeJ

What happens:

Firefox opens https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=896897&desc=2#c23 in two tabs inside of Google containers (instead of a single one).

Expected result:

The link should open in a single tab.

If I don't install the Twitter container add-on, the expected result occurs, so there is some weirdness in the hand-off between the two container contexts, as far as I can tell.
