Steps to reproduce:

  1. In GeckoView on Android, go to https://imgur.com/ .
  2. Wait for it to load.
  3. Scroll down all the way to the bottom. As more images load, keep scrolling to the bottom until the page stops shifting.
  4. Tap on "CONTINUE BROWSING".
  5. Do a fast fling gesture downwards.

Expected results:
You should be able to see boxes for the items down the page instead of just a purple background, and the images should start being displayed not long after.

Actual results:
The screen stays purple for multiple seconds. It takes a while for the empty grey boxes for the items to appear, and it takes even longer for those boxes to be filled with the actual images.
